Islamabad Police's 'Nasha Ab Nahi' campaign targets drug abuse, leading to successful arrests and operations against criminals. Efforts to maintain law and order and ensure community safety are highlighted.

Islamabad Police has taken a proactive stance against drug abuse with the initiation of a special campaign named 'Nasha Ab Nahi.' Led by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the campaign aims to safeguard the youth and eliminate the menace of drugs from the city.

During the past 24 hours, the police conducted successful operations resulting in the arrest of 15 criminals involved in drug trafficking. Various narcotics such as hashish, heroin, and ice, along with weapons, were seized from different areas of the city.

Notable arrests included individuals like Ameen Akhtar, Ali Hassan, Naseeb Ullah, and others, with significant quantities of illegal substances and weapons confiscated from their possession.

The crackdown on proclaimed offenders and absconders led to the apprehension of five individuals, showcasing the police's commitment to maintaining law and order in Islamabad.

DIG Islamabad, Syed Ali Raza, emphasized the importance of ongoing targeted operations to eradicate drug-related crimes, stating that 'Nasha Ab Nahi' is a crucial movement in the fight against drugs and dismantling drug networks.

In a separate operation, the Aabpara and Koral police teams successfully captured two wanted members of a bike theft gang, Fahad Bashir and Shehriyar, recovering six stolen motorbikes in the process.

The Islamabad Police's relentless efforts to combat criminal activities and ensure the safety of citizens and their property reflect their dedication to serving the community.

Citizens are urged to report any suspicious activities or individuals by contacting the emergency helpline 'Pucar-15' or using the 'ICT-15' app for immediate action by the authorities.
