The Lahore Police ensured a peaceful by-election day through extensive security measures, strict adherence to the Election Commission's Code of Conduct, and dedicated deployment of over 17,000 police officials.

The Lahore Police took extensive measures to guarantee the peaceful and secure conduct of the by-elections in 2024. With a strong presence of 24 SPs, 45 SDPOs, 168 Inspectors, SHOs, and Incharges Investigation, supported by over 17,000 police officials, the Lahore Police diligently fulfilled their security duties for the by-election. Lady Police Constables were specifically assigned to ensure the security of women polling stations and voters.

Throughout the city, 195 pickets were strategically placed on entry and exit routes, while polling stations were closely monitored. Voters underwent a thorough three-tiered security clearance before entering polling stations. Anti-Riot Forces and Reserve Forces were on standby to address any potential disturbances, with senior police officers maintaining continuous field supervision.

Capital City Police Officer Lahore, Bilal SiddiqueKamyana, emphasized the Lahore Police's commitment to providing foolproof security during the by-elections. Strict adherence to the Election Commission of Pakistan's Code of Conduct was observed, with zero tolerance for the display of weapons and firing incidents. Comprehensive monitoring through control rooms and CCTV cameras ensured a smooth polling day, supported by active patrols from Elite, Dolphin, and Police Response Unit (PRU) teams.
