An accusation has been made against PML-N member Malik Tariq Awan for allegedly assaulting a servant at a guest house in Peshawar. The case was registered by the servant of PTI-backed MNA Asif Khan, with charges including terrorism. According to the initial police report (FIR), Awan and a group of about 20 individuals physically abused the victim at the guest house. Five individuals have been apprehended based on MNA Asif's complaint, implicating Awan in the assault. It is important to note that no gunfire was reported during the altercation, only verbal confrontations between supporters of both parties.

The Secretary of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly visited Awan to inquire about his well-being and security. Awan clarified that the police visited to take his account of events and ensure his safety. This incident has raised concerns about the safety and treatment of individuals working in such establishments and the need for proper investigation and justice.
