KPRA crackdown on tax evasion in Peshawar

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) in Peshawar is taking strong measures to ensure businesses comply with tax regulations and prevent tax evasion. Recently, a restaurant in Peshawar Saddar faced a raid by KPRA officials who seized its records due to non-compliance with tax submission requirements.

Under the leadership of Director General KPRA, Fouzia Iqbal, the authority has launched a campaign to target taxpayers who fail to meet their tax obligations. DG KPRA stressed the significance of tax compliance and issued a stern warning against tax evasion, stating that such practices will not be tolerated. Non-compliant taxpayers are advised to cooperate with KPRA to avoid facing legal repercussions.
