Ministry of Religious Affairs announces 2024 Hajj flight schedule

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has released the schedule for the upcoming Hajj flight operations for the year 2024. The flights are set to begin on May 9th and will run until June 9th, facilitating the pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia for thousands of Muslims.

For the initial phase of the operation, all flights during the first 15 days will directly land at Madinah Airport. Subsequently, from May 24th to June 9th, most flights will arrive at Jeddah Airport, ensuring a smooth transition for the pilgrims.

On the first day of the operation, a total of 11 flights will transport 2,160 pilgrims to Saudi Arabia. Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Sialkot will all contribute to this journey, with each city sending off a specific number of pilgrims through dedicated flights.

The Hajj flight operation will kick off from Quetta on May 11th and Sukkur on May 27th. A total of 68,000 official Hajj pilgrims are expected to travel to Saudi Arabia through 259 dedicated Hajj flights. The operation is scheduled to conclude on June 9th, with the first return flight bringing pilgrims back home on June 20th.
