The National Highways and Motorway Police intensifies efforts to enforce safety regulations on motorways, cracking down on drivers violating seat belt and light regulations to enhance road safety.
In a recent move to enhance road safety, the National Highways and Motorway Police (NH&MP) has initiated a crackdown on drivers who fail to use seat belts while driving. The crackdown, led by SSP Motorway Sub-Sector M-4 Khanewal Farast Ali Bhandar, aims to enforce strict adherence to safety regulations on the motorways.
Drivers found operating vehicles on the motorways with inadequate or malfunctioning lights are being heavily fined as part of the enforcement measures. SSP Farast Ali Bhandar emphasized that there will be no leniency shown towards violators, highlighting the importance of complying with safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure the well-being of all road users.
Under the directive issued to all officials of Beat No 21 Shamkot, continuous action is being taken against drivers who violate safety regulations, with a firm commitment to uphold the law without any discrimination.
The NH&MP's proactive stance on enforcing seat belt usage and other safety measures on the motorways reflects a dedication to promoting road safety and reducing the risk of accidents. By imposing heavy fines and maintaining a zero-tolerance approach towards violations, the authorities are sending a clear message about the importance of prioritizing safety while driving.
