SNGPL takes strict action in Multan by disconnecting gas connections for violations, improving gas pressure, and urging residents to comply with regulations for a safer gas environment.

Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) recently cracked down on violations in Multan by disconnecting six gas connections. The department's task force, during their routine inspections, found various infractions leading to the disconnection of meters and removal of connections.

Two meters were disconnected due to defects, while three meters were removed for unauthorized use of compressors. One consumer faced disconnection for non-payment, with further actions pending. Moreover, five consumers were caught supplying gas illegally to multiple households, resulting in the removal of their connections.

The Task Force Incharge highlighted a noticeable improvement in gas pressure across the city. Residents were urged to report any low-pressure issues for swift resolution. Additionally, the Incharge advised against using compressors to maintain gas supply integrity.

The recent actions by SNGPL in Multan aim to ensure compliance with gas usage regulations and enhance the overall gas supply system. Residents are reminded to adhere to the guidelines to avoid disruptions and contribute to a safer gas environment for all.
