Punjab Governor meets APPSMA delegation, pledges support

The Punjab Governor, Sardar Saleem Haider Khan, recently met with a delegation from the All Pakistan Private Schools Management Association (APPSMA) to recognize the vital role played by private schools in advancing education in the region. Governor Haider reiterated the government's firm commitment to supporting the private sector at all levels, emphasizing the significant contribution of private schools in easing the educational burden on the government through their high student enrollment rates.

During the meeting, Governor Haider highlighted the government's ongoing initiatives to improve facilities and raise standards in public schools, with the aim of fostering stronger collaboration between the public and private sectors in fulfilling their shared responsibility of nurturing the youth. Kashif Adeeb Jadwani, the President of APPSMA, outlined the challenges faced by private schools and advocated for greater representation of low-fee institutions in government advisory committees.
