Qaisera Elahi Criticizes Family Rifts in Gujrat Press Conference

In a recent press conference in Gujrat, Qaisera Elahi, wife of PTI President Parvez Elahi, expressed her husband's unwavering support for Imran Khan despite internal family rifts. She accused Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi of fueling discord between Parvez Elahi and PML-Q chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain. The Chaudhry clan, a prominent political family in Gujrat, faced divisions when Elahi backed Imran Khan while Shujaat aligned with Asif Ali Zardari and the Sharif family.

Qaisera criticized the candidacy of Musa Elahi, Chaudhary Wajahat Hussain's son, against the seasoned Parvez Elahi in the upcoming PP-32 by-election. She highlighted Parvez Elahi's resilience at 78 and condemned the repeated arrests in corruption cases since June last year.

She accused Shujaat Hussain's sons of tarnishing the family legacy and manipulating elections. Qaisera raised concerns over unfair practices in the upcoming by-polls, citing arrests of their polling agents by rival candidates' influence.

The by-election for PP-32 in Gujrat, triggered by Chaudhry Salik Hussain's MNA retention, has intensified family feuds and political tensions. Qaisera vowed to uphold dignity and fairness in the electoral process, denouncing the alleged power-hungry tactics of Shujaat Hussain's sons.
