A recent workshop in Rawalpindi empowered advocates for family planning by equipping them with skills and knowledge to drive awareness and action in public health.

A recent workshop held at a local hotel in Rawalpindi aimed to support the Network of Family Planning Champions through a collaboration with key organizations like the Department of Health, the Challenge Initiative (TCI), Green Star Social Marketing, IRMNCH, and Nutrition Programme. The primary objective of the workshop was to equip media representatives, religious leaders, and social media influencers with the necessary skills to advocate for family planning.

The workshop saw the participation of prominent figures including City Manager Syeda Farah Amin, Deputy Chief Noman Hafeez, Manager Gender and Youth Alia Habib, and Khabib Kayani from TCI. Notable guests present were Divisional Director Social Welfare Shahid Rana, Deputy Director Information Department Tabinda Saleem, CEO Health Dr. Ijaz Ahmed, DCIR MNCH Dr. Naveed Akhtar Malik, and Deputy Editor Shakeela Jalil.

Participants were honored with Certificates and Shields of Honour in recognition of their dedication. Media representatives shared valuable insights on effective strategies for promoting family planning and also engaged in discussions regarding the TCI program.
