A recent visit by a delegation from the University of Putra Malaysia to the University of Sialkot has initiated potential collaborations, focusing on student exchanges, research projects, and global perspectives.

A recent visit by a delegation from the University of Putra Malaysia (UPM) to the University of Sialkot (USKT) has paved the way for possible collaboration between the two esteemed institutions. The delegation, headed by Dr Anuar Shah Bin Bali Mahomed, Deputy Dean of the school of Business and Economics at UPM, comprised key members like Saeed Chaudhry, a PhD Scholar, Mumtaz Hussain, Director of Connecting Development Learning, and Muhammad Pervaiz, Director of Connecting Development Learning Pakistan.

The meeting, presided over by Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Khaleeq-ur-Rahman of USKT, in the presence of Prof Dr Muhammad Aslam Dar, Dean of Interfaculty and Industrial Linkages, Dr Muhammad Ramzan, Head of the Department of Business, Abdul Ahad, Head of the Department of Aviation, and Dr Rukhshanda Saleem, Director of the International Office, primarily focused on exploring potential collaborations between the two universities.

Prof Dr Muhammad Khaleeq-ur-Rahman proposed several initiatives for mutual cooperation during the meeting, including joint student and faculty exchanges, collaborative research projects, and highlighted the advantages of such partnerships in enriching academic opportunities and nurturing a more global perspective for both institutions.

The visit of the UPM delegation to USKT signifies a significant step towards fostering academic partnerships and international collaborations. The proposed initiatives for cooperation hold the promise of enhancing educational experiences and promoting a broader understanding of global perspectives among students and faculty members of both universities.
