The University of Agriculture Faisalabad secures 56th position globally in QS World University Ranking 2024, making it the top-ranking institution in Pakistan for Agriculture and Forestry. UAF's commitment to excellence and impactful research initiatives contribute to its consistent top 100 global ranking over the past decade.

The University of Agriculture Faisalabad has achieved a significant milestone by securing the 56th position globally in the QS World University Ranking 2024 for Agriculture and Forestry. This accomplishment places UAF as the 10th best university in Asia and the top-ranking institution in Pakistan in this field. Notably, the university has shown remarkable progress by moving up ten spots from its previous ranking in 2023.

UAF's spokesperson highlighted that besides its international ranking advancement, the university is actively engaged in addressing farmers' challenges and providing valuable community services. One of its notable achievements includes the development of a comprehensive ten-year agricultural policy at the governmental level to tackle agricultural issues and promote prosperity and productivity.

Moreover, UAF has established strong international collaborations leading to impactful research initiatives. The Vice Chancellor, Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan, commended the faculty for their dedication and expressed optimism about the university's continued role in advancing agricultural practices and ensuring food security.

It is worth mentioning that UAF has consistently maintained its position among the top 100 universities globally for the past decade, making it the sole educational institution in Pakistan to achieve this feat. Reflecting on the university's success, the Director of the Office of Research Innovation and Commercialization, Prof Dr Muhammad Jafar Jaskani, emphasized the significant progress across various international quality parameters, including academic reputation, employer recognition, research paper citations, H-index indicators, and international research networks.
