ANF Seizes 47 kg Drugs, Arrests 12 in Successful Operations

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) recently carried out a series of successful operations across various locations in the country, resulting in the seizure of a total of 47 kg of drugs and the apprehension of 12 individuals. These operations have been instrumental in combating the illegal drug trade and ensuring the safety and well-being of the citizens.

One of the significant seizures occurred in Sialkot, where 600 grams of heroin were intercepted from a package bound for the UK at a courier office. In Islamabad, near the M-1 Motorway, ANF officials confiscated 13 kg of heroin from two suspects. On the M-8 Gwadar route, 10 kg of opium and 320 grams of weed were seized from three individuals.

Further operations led to the discovery of 10 kg of Ice from three Afghan nationals in the Torkham area, and 8 kg of heroin from two suspects near Divine Garden in Lahore. Additionally, 4 kg of heroin were found in the possession of an individual arrested near Bhaini Road in Lahore.

In another significant seizure in Tando Thoru, Hyderabad, ANF recovered 1 kg of hashish and 130 grams of Ice from a suspect. The individuals apprehended during these operations have been charged under the Anti-Narcotics Act, and investigations are currently underway to bring the culprits to justice.
