Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Zulqarnain introduces performance evaluation indicators, emphasizes cleanliness maintenance efforts, and implements digital monitoring systems to drive positive change in government departments and public services.

Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Zulqarnain has introduced a comprehensive set of 31 indicators to evaluate departmental performance. These indicators, issued by the Performance Management Reforms Unit, serve as crucial benchmarks for assessing the efficiency and effectiveness of various government departments. Zulqarnain highlighted the significance of these indicators during a recent meeting attended by key officials.

During the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Zulqarnain praised the Chief Officers of the Solid Waste Management Company (SWMC) Sialkot and Municipal Committee Pasrur for their outstanding efforts in maintaining cleanliness, particularly during the festive period of Eid. In recognition of their dedication, Zulqarnain announced plans to present them with certificates of appreciation. He also emphasized the importance of acknowledging and rewarding exceptional performance while ensuring accountability for any instances of negligence.

Zulqarnain underscored the implementation of digital monitoring systems for various tasks, including road repairs, street light maintenance, and inspection of filtration plants. He also discussed the importance of conducting regular visits to health and educational institutions, enforcing regulations such as the one-dish policy, and supporting initiatives like the clean Punjab campaign.

Furthermore, the deputy commissioner addressed key issues such as encroachments, wall chalking, and the maintenance of public facilities like cemeteries and bus terminals. He also outlined specific measures to combat challenges such as counterfeit fertilizers, improve traffic management, and enhance the efficiency of handling public complaints.

In addition to these initiatives, Zulqarnain inspected the progress of the District Education Authority complex construction and visited Government Jamia High School Jammu Road and Government Girls Higher Secondary School Dharowal to assess the state of educational facilities in the region.
