The district administration in Dera Ismail Khan, in partnership with Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) and local police, has initiated a campaign to tackle power theft and collect outstanding payments. This effort, mandated by the provincial government, is under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Dera Mansoor Arshad Khattak. The campaign is led by PESCO SE Eng Fida Muahmmad Mehsud and XEN Rural Division Eng Muaz Ahmad.

The main goal of the campaign is to recover overdue payments to address line losses on specific feeders, aiming to reduce load shedding duration on those feeders. To achieve this objective, teams have been formed under the guidance of district administration officials. These teams will target illegal connections on feeders with line losses and strive to recover outstanding payments from consumers to minimize load shedding.
