Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar recently reiterated Punjab Police's dedication to ensuring the safety of citizens, preventing crimes, and supporting vulnerable groups through community policing efforts. In a meeting with young ASsP officers from the 50th Common at the Central Police Office (CPO), Dr. Usman Anwar highlighted initiatives such as the Tahaffuz Center, Meesaq Center, Tahaffuz Manzil, and Foster Home, aimed at addressing the challenges faced by transgender individuals, women, children, and disabled persons. He also discussed the current and upcoming community policing projects undertaken by Punjab Police.
During training sessions at CPO, the young ASsP officers engaged in insightful discussions on various policing aspects. Additionally, Additional IG Investigation Punjab Muhammad Idrees Ahmad delivered a lecture at CPO Darsgah, focusing on the professional responsibilities of the Investigation Branch.
