Dr. Usman Anwar Commends Punjab Police Efforts

The Inspector General of Punjab Police, Dr. Usman Anwar, highlighted the importance of utilizing modern technology and professional skills to combat organized crime in the province. At the event, several police teams were recognized for their outstanding performance in addressing criminal activities. Teams from the Organized Crime Wing, Investigation Wing, and Operations Wing were specifically acknowledged for their achievements.

One team was lauded for apprehending gangs involved in drug trafficking to educational institutions, while another team was rewarded for capturing members of the notorious 'Topi Gang' associated with robbery and murder cases. Additionally, commendation certificates were given to teams for arresting individuals involved in crimes like blind murder, robbery, and drug trafficking.

Moreover, individual officers were commended for their roles in apprehending dangerous criminals linked to various criminal groups. The awards ceremony was attended by senior police officials, including Additional IG Punjab Sultan Ahmad Chaudhry and other high-ranking officers.
