Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi extends condolences

A devastating accident on Panj Pir Manawan Road in the Khushab district has left a community in mourning. Fourteen members of a single family lost their lives, and 12 others were injured when a passenger van they were traveling in veered off the road due to brake failure. The family, on their way from Bannu to Soon Valley for work, faced this tragedy that shook the entire region.

Upon receiving the distress call, rescue teams swiftly arrived at the scene to provide urgent medical assistance. Unfortunately, all the victims, both deceased and injured, were part of the same family. The deceased individuals, aged between 5 and 45 years old, included children and adults, adding to the heart-wrenching nature of the incident.

First aid was administered to four individuals with minor injuries at the accident site, while the remaining eight critically injured victims were rushed to THQ Hospital Naushera for advanced treatment. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi extended his condolences to the affected families, expressing deep sorrow over the tragic event.
