Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, recently chaired a meeting at the Central Police Office to review and respond to various requests and applications from police personnel and their families. The meeting focused on addressing concerns and needs raised by the dedicated members of the police force.

During the meeting, Dr. Usman Anwar demonstrated his commitment to the well-being of the police force by instructing the DIG Welfare to allocate funds for the medical treatment of Ghazi Constable Asim Shehzad, as requested by his father. Additionally, he emphasized the importance of merit-based decisions by directing the DIG Establishment-I to consider the promotion request of Sub-Inspector Muhammad Pervaiz Mukhtar from Rawalpindi.

Moreover, the IGP prioritized the welfare of police families by ordering the AIG Admin to take necessary actions on the recruitment request submitted by the son of retired constable Mukhtar Ahmad under the family claim category. He also ensured that driver Constable Muhammad Ramzan receives suitable accommodation by instructing the AIG Development to review and provide the necessary support.

Sub-Inspector Sanaullah's departmental promotion request from Lahore Police was forwarded for further processing, highlighting the IGP's dedication to career progression within the police force. Additionally, the IGP addressed the district transfer request of Nadeem, a cook from the Special Protection Unit, emphasizing the importance of fair and merit-based decision-making within the police department.
