IGP Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar pays respects at the funeral of Constable Ghulam Rasool, a Lahore Police officer tragically martyred. The police force honors the fallen officer and assures support for families of martyrs and injured officers.

Inspector General Police (IGP) Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar paid his respects at the funeral prayers of Constable Ghulam Rasool, a Lahore Police officer who was tragically martyred. The funeral, held at Qila Gujar Singh Police Lines, was attended by high-ranking officials including Commander 4 Corps Lieutenant General Syed Amir Raza Hilal Imtiaz Military.

Constable Ghulam Rasool, who served in the judicial wing, lost his life to an unknown assailant. The police force honored him with a guard of honor, showcasing their respect for his service. IG Punjab personally met with the family of the deceased constable, including his wife, son, and two daughters.

Expressing his condolences, IG Punjab highlighted the sacrifices made by Punjab Police, with over 1600 martyrs like Constable Ghulam Rasool and more than 1700 injured officers. He assured that measures are in place to support the families of martyrs and provide the best care for injured officials.

The funeral was also attended by CCPO Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana, DIG Operations Lahore Muhammad Faisal Kamran, DIG Investigation Zeeshan Asghar, and numerous other officers and officials, showing solidarity in the face of this loss.
