IG Punjab prioritizes police personnel's welfare needs

The Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, has emphasized the urgent need to address the challenges faced by police personnel and their families as a top priority. Prompt action is crucial in resolving professional and welfare concerns, with supervisory officers urged to act swiftly without delays.

During a recent meeting at the Central Police Office, IG Punjab issued directives to address requests from police officials and their families. Notable actions included facilitating a change in investigation for ASI Muhammad Arif's son and providing relief measures for requests from Shabbir Ahmad's wife against DSP Asif Khan and Inspector Mazhar Hussain.

Additionally, requests for assistance in ASI Faisal's cancer treatment and the recruitment of ASI Muhammad Ashraf's son were forwarded for necessary action. Relief measures for treatment requests from Head Constable Muhammad Aqeel and Constable Muhammad Afzal were also directed by IG Punjab to DIG Welfare.
