TEPA in Lahore intensifies efforts to remove illegal signboards and enforce parking bylaws, sealing off violators' properties. LDA emphasizes the importance of ongoing enforcement for a more organized urban environment.

The Traffic Engineering and Transport Planning Agency (TEPA) in Lahore has intensified its efforts to tackle the issue of illegal signboards and violation of parking bylaws in the city. In a recent operation conducted by TEPA enforcement teams, more than 67 properties were targeted for non-compliance with regulations.

The operation, which took place in various parts of Lahore including MM Alam Road and Ghalib Market Gulberg, saw the removal of illegal signboards from these properties. Additionally, seven buildings, including restaurants, a superstore, and a hotel, were sealed off for violating parking bylaws.

Prior to the operation, owners of the affected buildings had been issued several notices to rectify the violations. The crackdown comes as part of Lahore Development Authority's (LDA) ongoing efforts to maintain order and compliance with city regulations.

LDA Director General Tahir Farooq has emphasized the importance of continuing such operations to curb the proliferation of illegal signboards and ensure adherence to parking bylaws across Lahore. The strict enforcement actions aim to create a more organized and safe urban environment for residents and visitors alike.

The recent crackdown by TEPA on illegal signboards and parking bylaw violations underscores the authorities' commitment to upholding city regulations and maintaining order in Lahore.
