The Daral Khwar power station, located in Swat district, with a capacity of 36.6 MW, has been successfully restored by the Pakhtunkhwa Energy Development Organization (PEDO) and Energy and Power Department. This power station faced significant damage as a result of severe floods in both 2022 and this year.

In response to the critical situation, K-P Secretary Energy & Power, Nisar Ahmad Khan, conducted an emergency visit to the Daral Khwar Power Station in Swat. The restoration efforts have now been completed, marking a significant milestone in ensuring the availability of electricity in the region.
