Karachi's Sindh Interior Department plans to install over 1000 secret cameras in key areas to enhance security and monitor activities. The initiative includes a comprehensive surveillance project with 10,000 hidden cameras strategically placed across the city. Legal proceedings continue in the Defence accident case.

Karachi's Sindh Interior Department has announced plans to enhance surveillance in key areas of the city by installing over 1000 secret cameras. The decision includes the installation of these cameras in Karachi Airport, Red Zone, Shahrah Faisal, posh areas, and major highways in different phases.

The initiative aims to bolster security measures and monitor activities in these strategic locations. The Sindh Interior Department has already sought financial support from the Finance Department to kickstart the project. The first phase will focus on Karachi Airport and Red Zone, with subsequent phases expanding the surveillance network to other vital areas of the city.

Reports suggest that a total of 10,000 hidden cameras will be strategically placed across Karachi as part of this comprehensive surveillance project. This move comes in the wake of increasing security concerns and the need for advanced monitoring systems to ensure public safety.

In a separate development, the judicial remand of the accused individual, Afnan, in the Defence accident case has been extended, indicating ongoing legal proceedings in the matter.
