Recently, the police in Sanghar district carried out a successful operation resulting in the arrest of several suspects and the recovery of various illegal items. Acting on the directives of SSP Sanghar Ejaz Ahmed Shaikh, law enforcement officers were able to apprehend eight suspects and seize a pistol, axe, wine, illicit liquor, and gutka.

During a routine patrol, officers arrested Wahid Samejo and Punhoon Shar, confiscating a pistol and axe from them. Two other individuals who were with the suspects managed to escape capture. Separate raids conducted by SHO Perunmal Ishaq Sangrasi and SHO Shahpur Chakar Rao Wajid Ali led to the arrest of Anwer Ali Jatoi and Asif Ali Shah, who were wanted in connection with an attempted murder case. Additionally, CIA Sanghar Incharge Akber Khan Mari seized bottles of wine from Hamad Rajput and Rashid Ali and Abdul Hakeem Khaskheli.

In a different operation, SHO of Taluka Sanghar Muhammad Azam Bhangwar apprehended a drug peddler named Muhammad Hanif Khaskheli and confiscated 500 packets of gutka from him. All the accused have been charged under the Narcotics Control Act.
