Police in Sargodha District Make Major Arrests

Recently, the police in Sargodha district made a significant breakthrough by apprehending 11 individuals involved in various criminal activities. The suspects were captured in different locations, and a substantial amount of illegal items were confiscated from them.

The seized items included 2.6 kg of hashish, 1.3 kg of heroin, 345 liters of liquor, 12 pistols, 4 guns, 235 bullets, and valuables worth millions of rupees. This successful operation by the authorities has led to an ongoing investigation into the matter to ensure justice is served.

Meanwhile, passengers aboard the Mianwali Express train expressed their dissatisfaction with the alleged overcharging by the management. Despite the recent reduction in fuel prices, the train fares remained unchanged, prompting frustration among the passengers.

With Eid ul Azha approaching, the passengers urged the authorities to address this issue promptly. They pointed out the stark difference in fares, citing the Rs1470 train fare from Sargodha to Lahore compared to the much lower Rs800 to Rs1000 fare for a common AC bus on the same route.
