The Punjab Chief Minister introduces 'Maryam Ki Dastak App' to provide citizens with convenient access to essential government services, including birth certificates, promoting efficiency and accessibility in Punjab.

The Punjab Chief Minister has introduced a new mobile application named 'Maryam Ki Dastak App' to streamline the process of accessing government services for the citizens. This app aims to provide convenience by offering 10 essential services right at the fingertips of the people. These services include obtaining important documents such as Domicile, E-Stamping, Birth Certificate, Death Certificate, Marriage Certificate, Divorce Certificate, Motor Vehicle Transfer, Property tax, token tax, and new vehicle registration.

Through the 'Maryam Ki Dastak App,' individuals can now handle these services from the comfort of their homes, eliminating the need to visit government offices physically. Moreover, citizens have the option to request services via the Web Portal or by contacting the Call Center 1202. Once a service request is made, a government-approved representative will be assigned to deliver the necessary documents directly to the citizen's doorstep.

One of the crucial documents that can be obtained through this platform is the birth certificate, which holds significance as proof of a child's birth. This certificate plays a vital role in acquiring other essential documents like the B-form from Nadra. To avail of these services, applicants are required to pay a specified application fee, for instance, Rs1,200 for a birth certificate. Additionally, applicants must submit various documents including the original Application Form A, child's photographs, original birth slip from the hospital, copies of the applicant's CNIC, vaccination card, and CNIC copies of parents and grandparents.

The launch of the 'Maryam Ki Dastak App' by the Punjab Chief Minister marks a significant step towards enhancing accessibility to government services for the citizens. This initiative not only simplifies the process of obtaining essential documents but also promotes efficiency and convenience. By leveraging technology, the government aims to make public services more user-friendly and accessible to all, ultimately benefiting the people of Punjab.
