Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari announces innovative public welfare initiatives including the introduction of Pakistan's first air ambulance service and reduction in prices of essential food items under Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz's leadership.

The Punjab Information Minister, Azma Bokhari, emphasized that the government will not tolerate any hindrance in providing public relief. Addressing a press conference at the Director General Public Relations (DGPR), Bokhari highlighted the achievements under Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz's leadership.

Bokhari announced the arrival of the first air ambulance in Pakistan, capable of landing in small areas without the need for a runway. This service will be provided free of charge to the public, with three air ambulances and two helicopters dedicated to rescue operations. She mentioned that exercises are underway to ensure the efficient operation of the air ambulance service.

In addition to the air ambulance initiative, the government has taken steps to reduce the prices of roti and naan. Bokhari noted that the cost-effective roti scheme was initially introduced by Shehbaz Sharif and has now been further improved by Maryam Nawaz. The price of 20 kg of flour has already been reduced by Rs500, with additional reductions expected in the future.

Furthermore, Bokhari emphasized that the government will not hesitate to take action against any entities obstructing public relief efforts. She rejected the stance of the Nanbai Association and urged cooperation for the benefit of the general public. The price of 100 grams of roti has been fixed at Rs16, while naan will be available for Rs20, ensuring affordable access to these staple foods.

In conclusion, the Punjab government's initiatives under Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz's leadership aim to enhance public welfare through innovative solutions such as the air ambulance service and reduced prices of essential food items.
