Commissioner Syed Muhammad Sajjad Haider of Shaheed Benazirabad recently undertook an unannounced inspection in Tando Adam city to assess the measures put in place by the Sindh government to combat the effects of severe heatwaves in the region. This initiative aimed to ensure the well-being of the local community during extreme weather conditions.

During the inspection, Commissioner Haider meticulously examined the heatstroke ward at the taluka hospital, carefully reviewing the available facilities. He also conducted a thorough assessment of various sections of the hospital to verify the provision of essential amenities, medications, and cleanliness standards for both inpatients and outpatients. Stressing the significance of delivering top-notch healthcare services, Commissioner Haider reiterated a zero-tolerance approach towards any lapses in service quality.

Furthermore, Commissioner Haider issued a public advisory urging residents to limit unnecessary outdoor activities in the midst of the intense heatwave. He encouraged individuals to promptly seek assistance from the Heatstroke Center within the hospital in case of any heat-related illnesses. Additionally, the commissioner supervised maintenance operations on the Tando Adam-Mirpur-Khas road, directing the concerned authorities to maintain high standards in road upkeep and enhance the quality and efficiency of maintenance work.
