PMD predicts rain and thunderstorms in upper Punjab

Weather forecasters from the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) have predicted rain, wind, and thunderstorms in the upper districts of Punjab over the upcoming weekend. This weather phenomenon is attributed to a shallow westerly wave expected to enter Balochistan, affecting western and upper regions of Pakistan.

Specifically in Lahore, temperatures are forecasted to range between 33-35 degrees Celsius on Friday and 34-36 degrees Celsius on Saturday. The recent weather pattern in the region saw dry conditions, with Bahawalpur recording the highest temperature at 39 degrees Celsius. Relative humidity levels in Lahore were noted at 23% during the evening.
