The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted intermittent rain, wind, and thunderstorms in Lahore and parts of Punjab starting Wednesday evening and continuing over the next two days. This weather pattern is due to moist currents moving in from the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal, affecting southern, central, and possibly northern regions of Pakistan. Areas such as Murree, Galyat, Rawalpindi, Jhelum, and others are likely to experience windstorms, thunderstorms, and isolated rain.

Over the past 24 hours, hot and dry weather has prevailed in most districts of Punjab. Bhakkar and Noorpur Thal recorded the highest temperatures in the province, reaching 47°C. Other areas like Kot Addu, Bahawalpur, and Sargodha also experienced temperatures above 45°C. In Lahore, the maximum temperature is expected to range between 42-44°C on Thursday and 41-43°C on Friday, with a relative humidity of 38% in the evening.

As the weather conditions evolve, it is important for residents to stay informed and take necessary precautions to stay safe and comfortable during this period of unpredictable weather.
