Alam Shar and Gang Clash with Police Forces

On Sunday, a fierce clash erupted between law enforcement forces and a gang of the Kacha area on the Sindh-Punjab border, resulting in the deaths of two notorious dacoits. The joint operation, conducted by Punjab Police, Sindh Police, and Rangers, targeted the Shar Gang, led by the infamous dacoit Alam Shar and his accomplice.

Reports indicate that the dacoits, armed with rocket launchers, engaged in a firefight with the police forces. The retaliatory firing by the forces led to the demise of Alam Shar and his associate. The operation aims to rescue hostages held by the dacoit gang of Sanu Shar, prompting an increased deployment of police personnel and Rangers in the area.

Authorities have cordoned off the Kacha area in Gahilpur and Kashmore, sealing all entry and exit points. Armored vehicles, including APCs, have been deployed to support the operation. Despite ongoing gunfire exchanges, the forces remain vigilant to prevent the escape of the dacoits.
