China Airport Construction Company completes Modern Residential Complex in Gwadar

The construction of the New Gwadar International Airport (NGIA) in Pakistan is nearing completion, with the final touches being put on the project. China Airport Construction Company (CACC) has recently completed the construction of a 'Modern Residential Complex' in Gwadar, which is a significant milestone in the overall development of the airport.

The 'Modern Residential Complex' consists of four residential buildings, a school, and a hospital, all designed to accommodate designated officials of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) of Pakistan. The complex features modern amenities such as a centrally air-conditioned system, uninterrupted power supply, a sewerage network, and potable water pipelines. Additionally, plans are underway to install a Wi-Fi system to provide connectivity to the residents.

To enhance the living environment, green spaces are being developed around the residential complex, with a focus on planting trees both inside and outside the buildings. This initiative aims to create a healthier and more sustainable infrastructure for the residents, promoting a greener ecosystem within the airport premises.

In line with international standards, the Pakistani government plans to have NGIA inspected by organizations such as the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the European Citizen Action Service (ECAS), and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). These assessments are crucial for ensuring that the airport meets stringent security requirements and operates in compliance with global aviation regulations.

The progress on the New Gwadar International Airport and the completion of the 'Modern Residential Complex' signify a significant step forward in the development of Gwadar as a key aviation hub in the region.
