The 'Ab Gaoon Chamkain Ga' project, led by Commissioner Maryam Khan, focuses on rural sanitation and cleanliness to uplift living standards and create a healthier environment through community engagement and sustainable impact.

In a bid to enhance cleanliness and sanitation in rural regions, the provincial government has launched a pioneering project titled 'Ab Gaoon Chamkain Ga'. This initiative aims to address the pressing issue of sewerage and cleanliness in villages, with a focus on improving the overall living conditions for residents.

Commissioner of Multan division, Maryam Khan, spearheaded the project's launch during a visit to Peerawala Hamid Pur Kinora union council. Accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Rizwan Qadeer, she assessed the ongoing cleanliness initiatives and stressed the importance of maintaining a clean environment in rural areas.

Deputy Commissioner Rizwan Qadeer detailed the provision of cleanliness staff and small machinery at the Union Council level, with expenses being recuperated through committee formations. Additionally, Director of Local Government Zahoor Hussain highlighted the allocation of three sanitary workers and one loader rickshaw in each union council to bolster the project's implementation.

As part of the awareness campaign, an engaging walk was organized under the leadership of Commissioner Maryam Khan and DC Rizwan Qadeer. Cash prizes were distributed to commendable sanitary workers, recognizing their efforts in promoting cleanliness. Commissioner Maryam Khan also planted a sapling in Peerewala Union Council, symbolizing growth and prosperity for the community.

Director Zahoor Hussain provided a comprehensive briefing to the Commissioner and DC, outlining the progress made in the 'Ab Gaoon Chamkain Ga' project. With a collective effort towards maintaining cleanliness and hygiene, the project aims to uplift the living standards of rural areas and foster a healthier environment for all.
