The police department was tasked with enhancing security measures for Chand Raat and Eid-ul-Fitr to safeguard lives and property, as well as maintaining smooth traffic flow.

Mayor Municipal Corporation Qazi Muhammad Rashid Bhatti and Municipal Commissioner Abdul Razzaq Sheikh provided updates on cleanliness and mosquito control in Nawabshah, while officers from various town committees reported on preparations in their respective areas.
