CTD Raid Leads to Arrest of TTP Financiers

The Sindh Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) recently conducted a successful raid in the Sohrab Goth area of the city, leading to the arrest of two individuals involved in financing the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). This action was taken in response to the directive from the home department to crack down on those supporting terrorist activities.

During the operation carried out by the CTD, it was revealed that the arrested suspects were providing financial assistance to the outlawed TTP. In a swift response, the home department added the names of these individuals to the 4th Schedule, a list that identifies persons associated with proscribed organizations to prevent further support to such groups.

This proactive measure by the authorities highlights the commitment to combating terrorism and ensuring the safety and security of the citizens.
