Former Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhary has cast doubt on the ability of the current government to complete its term, predicting a tumultuous road ahead. Speaking to the press at an Anti-Terrorism Court appearance in Lahore, Chaudhary expressed skepticism about the government's longevity, stating that it would be a significant achievement if it managed to last even five months.

Chaudhary highlighted the prevailing atmosphere of uncertainty in Pakistan, emphasizing the fear of arbitrary arrests looming over everyone. Despite facing legal challenges himself, he remained optimistic, mentioning his past experiences of being incarcerated and expressing hope for divine intervention.

Addressing the political landscape, Chaudhary stressed the importance of de-escalating tensions and suggested that releasing Imran Khan from custody could pave the way for progress. He underscored the fragility of the current administration, labeling it a 'Form 47 government' facing an uphill battle to survive.

Meanwhile, an Anti-Terrorism Court granted Chaudhary interim bail in connection with four cases related to May 9 riots, shielding him from arrest until April 20. Accompanied by his wife, Hiba Fawad, Chaudhary appeared in court, where the police were instructed to present relevant records at the next hearing.

Prior to Eid, the Islamabad High Court granted Chaudhary transit bail in 22 cases, preventing his arrest for three weeks and directing him to seek legal recourse through appropriate channels.

Fawad Chaudhary's remarks have added fuel to the speculation surrounding the government's stability, raising concerns about its ability to navigate the challenges ahead. As the political landscape continues to evolve, the future remains uncertain for the embattled administration.
