Mahmood Khan Achakzai leads an opposition alliance to address government irregularities through peaceful protests, emphasizing social consensus and governmental accountability.

Mahmood Khan Achakzai, head of the newly formed opposition alliance Tehreek Tahaffuz-e-Aain, emphasized that the alliance is not aimed at inciting hatred against any state institution, including the army and spy agencies. The alliance, comprising six parties including PTI, JI, SIC, MWM, and BNP-M, was established to address the current challenges faced by Pakistan through social consensus.

During a meeting in Islamabad, Achakzai stated, 'We have no differences with the army. We acknowledge the importance of spy agencies for a country's functioning.' The alliance appointed PTI as its coordinator and announced plans for nationwide protests against alleged government irregularities.

PTI's Omar Ayub highlighted concerns over the government's formation process and alleged rigging in Punjab's by-elections. The alliance plans to stage protests in Karachi and Faisalabad to address these issues.

SIC's Hamid Raza condemned the crackdown on opposition members in Punjab, warning against further brutality. Raza criticized the provincial government's actions and vowed to continue the protest against such oppressive measures.

In response to the escalating tensions, the opposition alliance remains steadfast in its commitment to peaceful protests and calls for governmental accountability.
