Recent cases at Karachi and Lahore airports reveal a surge in individuals using fake documents for international travel. The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) is actively detecting and apprehending offenders to uphold the law and ensure traveler safety.

Instances of individuals attempting to travel abroad using fake documents have been on the rise, with recent cases coming to light at airports in Karachi and Lahore. The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) immigration has been vigilant in detecting and apprehending such individuals, ensuring that the law is upheld and perpetrators are brought to justice.

In a recent incident at Karachi's Jinnah International Airport, a couple, Talat Iqbal and his wife, were offloaded from a flight to Europe after attempting to travel on fake UK employment visas. The couple had obtained these visas from an agent in Lahore for a significant sum of £2400, which was transferred through various bank accounts to avoid detection. The FIA spokesperson disclosed that the accused couple has been transferred to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Karachi for further legal action.

Similarly, at Lahore's Allama Iqbal International Airport, two passengers, Ishban Murad and Ameer Hamza, were arrested for trying to travel abroad using fake documents. Murad was caught with a counterfeit Mauritius passport, acquired through an agent for Rs 2 million, while Hamza was found with a fake Italian passport and Spain resident card. Both individuals were handed over to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Lahore for legal proceedings.

These incidents highlight the importance of stringent measures in place to combat human trafficking and the use of counterfeit documents for illegal immigration. The FIA's efforts in detecting and preventing such activities are crucial in maintaining the integrity of immigration processes and ensuring the safety and security of travelers.
