On Wednesday, Faisalabad observed Labor Day with various labor organizations and NGOs organizing rallies and seminars to commemorate the day. The event aimed to raise awareness about the fundamental rights of workers and honor those who sacrificed their lives in Chicago in 1886 for labor rights.

Divisional Commissioner Madam Silwat Saeed highlighted the government's efforts to improve the welfare of laborers, emphasizing the implementation of strategies to enhance the living standards of marginalized communities. District Vigilance Committees are actively monitoring labor welfare initiatives, focusing on ensuring fair wages, healthcare, and education for workers and their families.

Addressing a rally, Khalid Mehmood Chaudhry, Chief Organizer of Railway Praim Union, stressed the government's responsibility to address labor issues and provide essential amenities to workers. He was joined by other union representatives, including Noor-ud-Din, Tanvir Ahmad, Sajid Imran, and Muhammad Kashif, in advocating for labor rights.
