The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted ambassadors from Central Asian nations to strengthen economic ties, explore trade opportunities, and promote regional connectivity. Discussions focused on improving trade relations, highlighting investment prospects, and potential cooperation in various sectors.

The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry recently welcomed ambassadors from Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan in a bid to strengthen economic ties and explore trade opportunities between Pakistan and Central Asian nations. This gathering marked a significant step towards enhancing cooperation and fostering mutual growth.

During the visit, the ambassadors, accompanied by LCCI President Kashif Anwar, inaugurated a Business Kiosk designed to facilitate trade among the four countries. The event saw the presence of esteemed guests, including LCCI Senior Vice President Zafar Mahmood Chaudhry and Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan Rao Khalid M. Khan.

The discussions primarily focused on improving trade relations and overcoming obstacles that impede economic collaboration. The Ambassador of Turkmenistan emphasized the immense potential for trade between Pakistan and Central Asian Republics, stressing the importance of closer partnerships across various sectors.

Similarly, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan highlighted the significance of promoting connectivity and mutual relations, pointing out the investment prospects in Azerbaijan, especially in economic zones and tourism.

The Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan shed light on the increasing bilateral trade volume between Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan, stressing the need for direct flights and educational exchanges to strengthen ties between the two nations.

Moreover, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan underscored the importance of regional connectivity in facilitating trade, citing successful collaborations that have utilized Pakistani sea ports and highways for international trade.
