Former Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Sardar Tanveer Ilyas, finds himself embroiled in a legal battle after a case was registered against him for allegedly attempting to illegally occupy the central office of the Centaurus Mall in Islamabad.

The First Information Report (FIR) was filed at Margalla Police Station following a complaint lodged by the shopping mall's deputy security incharge, Colonel retired Tipu Sultan. Alongside Sardar Tanveer Ilyas, individuals named in the case include Muhammad Ali, Aneel Sultan, Rizwan, and others.

The FIR details that the former PM of AJK, accompanied by a group of 20-25 people, forcibly entered the mall's office. Despite the presence of security guards, the attempt to occupy the office was thwarted. Allegations include threats made by Sardar Tanveer against Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan and Sardar Dr Rashid Ilyas Khan, as well as physical assault on the security staff.

The deputy security incharge has urged the police to take legal action against Sardar Tanveer Ilyas and the other suspects involved in the incident.
