In a bid to curb profiteering activities, the district administration in Sargodha recently took decisive action against five shopkeepers. The crackdown was carried out by price control magistrates who conducted inspections at various locations, including Mid Ranjha, Mid Morr, Kot Momin, and Bhagtanwala road.

During the inspections, it came to light that shopkeepers named Amir, Fiyyaz, Sultan, Zafar, and Ijaz were found to be engaging in profiteering practices. In response to this violation, cases were promptly registered against them, and fines were imposed as a deterrent.
