Drug trafficking remains a serious concern in Saudi Arabia, as evidenced by recent arrests made in the holy city of Madina. The suspects were promptly handed over to the public prosecution after necessary legal procedures were completed.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been actively cracking down on drug peddlers and smugglers, with several incidents involving Pakistani nationals attempting to smuggle or sell drugs within the country.
