Taxila Police dismantles two criminal gangs, arrests five suspects

In a significant development, the Taxila Police successfully dismantled two separate gangs of robbers involved in a series of criminal activities, leading to the arrest of five individuals. The operation conducted by the Taxila Police resulted in the apprehension of three members of one gang, namely Jehanziab, Shakir, and Zabeeh Ullah. Simultaneously, another gang was targeted, resulting in the arrest of Jannat Gull and Junaid Iqbal, along with the recovery of weapons and stolen goods from their possession.

The Police spokesperson disclosed that the confiscated items included looted valuables and weapons that were used in various criminal acts. Following initial interrogations, the detained suspects admitted to their participation in multiple criminal incidents, including robberies and street crimes within the region. The suspects have been transferred to a detention facility for further legal procedures, including identification lineups.
