The Pakistan Meteorological Department forecasts isolated rainfall and extreme heatwave conditions in Lahore and Punjab. Residents are advised to stay hydrated and follow weather updates for safety.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued a weather forecast for Lahore and parts of Punjab, predicting isolated rainfall and strong winds for Monday and Tuesday. The current weather pattern in Pakistan is characterized by continental air, which is likely to result in rain, wind, and thunderstorms in specific areas such as Murree, Galyat, Rawalpindi, and more.

While southern districts are expected to face extremely hot weather with gusty winds, Lahore is set to experience temperatures ranging between 43-45°C during these two days. The recent weather conditions in Lahore and other parts of Punjab have been hot and dry, with gusty winds reported in various areas.

Notably, Bhakkar and Noorpur Thal recorded the highest temperatures in the province at 47°C, followed by several other cities reaching up to 46°C. Lahore itself saw a maximum temperature of 43°C with an evening relative humidity of 24%.

As the PMD's forecast indicates a mix of rainfall and heatwave conditions in Punjab, it is essential for residents to stay informed and take necessary precautions to cope with the changing weather patterns. Stay hydrated, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, and follow local weather updates to ensure your safety during these weather fluctuations.
