The Pakistan Meteorological Department predicts severe weather conditions with intermittent rain, wind, and thunderstorms in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and various parts of Pakistan. On Thursday night and Friday, intermittent rain, wind, and thunderstorms are forecasted in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and various parts of Pakistan. This weather phenomenon is due to a westerly wave prevailing over the upper and central regions of the country, as reported by the Pakistan Meteorological Department.

The weather conditions are expected to persist, leading to more rain, wind, and thunderstorms in the mentioned areas as well as isolated places in Punjab, upper Sindh, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, northeast Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir.

Gusty and dust-raising winds are anticipated in the plains of the country during the evening and night. Maximum temperatures in Islamabad are projected to range between 37-39°C on Friday and 38-40°C on Saturday, while Rawalpindi is expected to experience maximum temperatures between 35-37°C on Friday and 38-40°C on Saturday.

Recent weather reports indicate rain, wind, and thunderstorms in the twin cities and isolated areas in Punjab, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir over the last 24 hours. The rest of the country experienced hot and dry weather conditions.

Notable temperature recordings include Jacobabad as the hottest place in the country with a maximum temperature of 44°C. Other regions with high temperatures include Turbat, Khairpur, Dadu, Sakrand, and Shaheed Benazirabad, where temperatures reached 43°C. In Islamabad, the maximum temperature recorded was 36°C with a relative humidity of 34% in the evening, while Rawalpindi recorded a maximum temperature of 36°C with a relative humidity of 64% in the evening.
