Weather forecasts indicate that Pakistan is set to experience a mix of rain, wind, and temperature fluctuations in the coming days. The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has reported the presence of a shallow westerly wave over the upper regions of the country, leading to varied weather conditions across different areas.

On Sunday evening and Monday, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and several parts of Pakistan are likely to witness rain, wind, and thunderstorms. Additionally, Sindh and Punjab are expected to see a rise in temperatures, with levels ranging from 4 to 8 degrees Celsius above normal from May 21 to May 27. Similar temperature increases are anticipated in other regions like Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Balochistan during this period.

Monday is expected to bring hot and dry weather across the country, with very hot conditions and dusty winds in central and southern areas. However, isolated areas in upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and nearby hilly regions may experience partly cloudy weather with rain, wind, and thunderstorms.

Temperature projections suggest that Islamabad and Rawalpindi could see maximum temperatures of 37-41°C on Monday and Tuesday. Recent weather observations have shown hot and dry conditions prevailing in most parts of the country, with isolated instances of rain reported in certain regions. Notably, Nawabshah recorded the highest temperature in the country at 49°C.

Pakistan is bracing for a mix of weather patterns in the coming days, with rain, wind, and temperature fluctuations expected across various regions. It is advisable for residents to stay informed about local weather updates and take necessary precautions to stay safe and comfortable during these changing weather conditions.
