A meeting at the Higher Education Secretariat in South Punjab, led by Dr. Farrukh Naveed, focused on evaluating ADP schemes' progress and addressing challenges in colleges to enhance education quality in the region.

A recent meeting took place at the Higher Education Secretariat in South Punjab to evaluate the progress of Annual Development Programme (ADP) schemes and the performance of the Divisional Directorate of Colleges. The meeting, presided over by Dr. Farrukh Naveed, Secretary of Higher Education, saw the participation of key officials, including Special Secretary Sarfaraz Ahmed and Additional Secretary Ataul Haq.

The primary focus of the meeting was to address challenges encountered by associate colleges, degree colleges, and commerce colleges. Dr. Naveed stressed the significance of completing schemes within the stipulated time frame under the annual development programme. He instructed all directors to closely monitor the progress of these schemes to ensure their timely completion.

Moreover, Dr. Naveed tasked the DPI South Punjab, in collaboration with the Special Secretary, to conduct visits to all districts to evaluate the enhancement of educational facilities and the status of development schemes in colleges. The Secretary received a comprehensive monthly performance report from the Directorate of Colleges of Multan, Bahawalpur, and Dera Ghazi Khan divisions.

The meeting at the Higher Education Secretariat in South Punjab highlighted the commitment of officials to enhance the quality of education in the region.
