Imposter Police Officer Duo Arrested for Robbery Spree

An individual posing as a police officer has been apprehended in Karachi for his involvement in a series of thefts targeting women in the city. The suspect, identified as Nadir Ali, was caught red-handed while stealing a handbag from a woman in the Buffer Zone area. Upon investigation, law enforcement officials recovered the stolen items, including the police uniform and a motorcycle with a fake police number plate, from the accused.

Earlier, surveillance footage from a bakery linked to a popular fast-food chain in Pakistan captured the imposter officer and his accomplice in a robbery. The video showed the fake policeman robbing the bakery staff at gunpoint before fleeing with cash from the counter. The suspect, Shehryar Ghori, was later arrested in Lahore for his suspected involvement in multiple robberies in Karachi. During interrogation, Ghori confessed to carrying out over 30 robberies at various establishments in the city.

It was revealed that the criminal obtained the police uniform to evade checkpoints and purchased a firearm from Peshawar. Ghori, who disclosed personal details including his family situation, admitted to his illicit activities and expressed remorse for his actions.

The arrest of these imposters highlights the importance of vigilance and cooperation between law enforcement agencies and the public to combat crime effectively. It serves as a reminder to stay cautious and report any suspicious activities to the authorities promptly.
